The Eurofighter is the result of a joint project of several European nations. The countries currently operating the Eurofighter are Austria, Germany, Italy, U.K, Saudi Arabia, and Spain. The Typhoon is agile, and has some stealth features as well as advanced avionics. In a test by the UK's Defence Evaluation and Research Agency, the Typhoon is second only to the F-22 in combat performance. Like the F-22, the Typhoon is capable of supercruise - supersonic flight without the use of afterburners.
