The Su-47 Berkut (Golden Eagle) is a highly maneuverable supersonic jet fighter produced by Sukhoi Aviation Corporation. It is interesting to note that the Berkut has forward-swept wings, as well as thrust-vectoring ability. The cockpit of the Berkut is specially designed to reduce g-forces on a pilot during many of the complex maneuvers that these features allow. The SU-47 is still in experimental stages, and has not yet made it into production.
